As new owners of Verruckt Herz, we will continue Kelly's mission of breeding for specific traits in terms of health, temperament, and appearance.  We do not predominantly breed show lines, nor for angulation or "roached" backs.   We believe German Shepherds are happiest when they are at work but that they make fantastic companions in any situation.  They are very loyal, protective, eager to please and extremely smart!

As small-scale hobby-breeders who only breed a select number of litters, annually,

we firmly believe that by keeping it small-scale and simple, we have much more time, effort, funding and all the attention and love to fully put into each one of our dogs and their pups

In the 8 weeks they are in our care as pups, they will be part of the family.  They will be around other animals, children, noises (lots of noises), and introduced to a variety of experiences - walks, runs, rides in the car, etc.  We believe this makes them more well-rounded and confident and less fearful in new situations.
