"We've had our German Shepherd, Athena, since September of 2016 and have been very happy with our purchase. Not only was she house and crate trained when we picked her up, but she has been great with our 2 year old and 9 month old boys.
Aside from Athena's temperament and loyalty to our family, the owners of Verrückt Herz were very accommodating and instrumental to us getting her. We were originally on a waiting list for a future litter of puppies until Athena's mother was stolen from them. They originally had called to offer a refund on our money since they obviously weren't going to be able to have the puppies anymore. A day after offering a refund, we got another call and they offered us one of the pups they were going to keep back. They knew, from previous conversations, how much I was hoping to get my children a German Shepherd, and offered one of their own they were keeping back. My family is thankful for the extra effort on their part.
When meeting up to pick up Athena, you could tell that the family we were buying from truly does love and care for their dogs and put care and effort into making sure the puppies are healthy and happy before they go to a good home. They also like to keep up with the dogs they've sold and make sure that they are doing well in their new homes; we've periodically kept in contact with me sending pictures and updates on our new pet." -Jake
